Palette Swaps are Magic! (ft. adult Sweetie Belle) by Pix3M Palette Swaps are Magic! (ft. adult Sweetie Belle) by Pix3M
Another collection of palette swaps which I made mainly because I wanted to do mad experiments with color, mostly with greens and browns. This one features adult Sweetie Belle!

A1: Original (Also found here: [link])
A2: Fail Bon Bon attempt. Her pink hair makes me think of bubble gum.
A3: Bon Bon. I think she has a fun color scheme
A4: Celestia. Pretty interesting to try to cram four colors of her mane when the original image was meant to have only two hair colors.
A5: Trixie
A6: Random attempt to try to make green look good

B1: DJ pon3 / Vinyl Scratch
B2: Went for a random color scheme with cool colors
B3: Some attempt to try to make green hair look good.
B4: Celestia, but with an atmosphere added
B5: Experimenting with earth tones
B6: Some experiment using gray as a middle color in my color ramps

C1: Gold and silver
C2: Gray and yellow.
C3: Went for a chilling color scheme
C4: Random
C5: Went for something that is so desaturated it's almost gray, but not quite. Only a few points of saturation for some colors here.
C6: ^ And what happens if I change all of its colors so it's all the way gray. Goes to show you that you that grays do not need to be completely gray

D1: Minty!
D2: Another attempt at trying to make green hair look good
D3: Trying to create colors which I won't have words for
D4: Something firey. I really like that color of umber (or w/e you call that color of brown) for some reason.
D5: Random light color scheme
D6: *running out of ideas when I made this one* Went for something more chaotic in terms of lighting.

E1: Random attempt at using browns
E2: My high school's colors
E3: ^Now with a purple haze
E4: Twilight Sparkle
E5: Yay earth tones
E6: Moar earth tones... though I slipped and made an orange, and just went along with it.

F1: Fluer de lis
F2: Another attempt at making green hair look good. I really like this one o_O
F3: Earth tones earth tones...
F4: *running out of ideas* Hey, I'll make another fiery color scheme!
F5: *more earth tones*
F6: Tried to recreate the brown color from D4. I like this one a lot O_o

Like I said... 3.6 million different combinations of hue, saturation, and value.

But, it's kinda funny looking back at my old crap like this. I would not consider this old style a *great* example of pixel art. The technique I used here was very, very basic and does not show as much understanding of technique than some of my later stuff.

I know it's basic, but the colours are astounding and beautiful. It's as if you have the rainbow at your fingertips. Also it's not crap ;p
